What kind of dental equipment can GroupUps help with?

GroupUps primarily focuses on larger equipment purchases like CBCTs, dental chairs, and complete office buildouts. We also periodically have deals or group purchase opportunities on smaller equipment such as handheld x-rays, sensors, 3D printers, or autoclaves.

What's the process for working with GroupUps on my equipment purchases?

Once you’ve identified the equipment you need, we handle the negotiations with sellers, using data, our relationships, and group buying power to secure better pricing. You buy the equipment directly from the seller, and pay us a percentage of the savings, ensuring our goals align with yours.

Am I buying the equipment from GroupUps?

GroupUps doesn’t actually sell equipment. Instead, we negotiate pricing on your behalf with authorized sellers. You still buy the equipment directly from the seller, who also handles installation, service, and warranty.

How does installation, service, and warranty work?

Installation, service, and warranty are still provided by the seller selected to fulfill the orders.

Can I use GroupUps if I already have distributor relationships?

Absolutely! Keep in mind that it’s best to contact GroupUps before you get multiple quotes, to ensure the most negotiating leverage.

I'm starting a new practice or expanding a practice. Do I have to wait for a GroupUp?

New and expanding practices spend so much on your own that you don’t actually have to wait for a group buy opportunity. We’ll group your purchases with others where it makes sense, but since your timing is unique based on office buildouts, contractors, permitting, etc. we work to maximize savings for just your purchase. We’ve helped new and expanding practices save tens of thousands of dollars on their equipment purchases.

Do you only do group purchases?

Nope! We might put together group buys when we have lots of doctors in our network buying the same thing at the same time, but we primarily focus on larger purchases, like when you’re starting a new practice, remodeling or expanding your existing practice, or buying a CBCT.

Does GroupUps only work with certain brands?

No, we can work with any brand because GroupUps is brand agnostic. We’re not the seller so we’re not limited to a specific set of brands; instead we help you get better pricing on the equipment that make the most sense for your practice.

Can I use GroupUps if I need financing?

Yes! You can work with your current financing partner or we can introduce you to financing partners if you don’t already have one.

How do you make money?

GroupUps takes a percentage of the savings we’re able to negotiate. This means we make more money when we save YOU more. We also have this short video that explains how we work.
